What’s DoorDash like in terms of their business, the role, and the work culture?

Well, as a Shift Lead, you’ll be really hands-on! You’ll manage the day-to-day operations in the fulfillment center, making sure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You’ll also oversee inventory, maintain safety and cleanliness, and even help out in the kitchen if needed. It’s all about keeping things running smoothly!

They’re looking for someone who’s self-motivated, positive, and a real team player. You should have a good track record in food, beverage, or retail settings, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Plus, being organized and comfortable with Google Docs and Sheets is a plus!

You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, but a college diploma is a bonus! Also, you’ll need to be able to obtain a food handling certificate, but don’t worry, DoorDash will provide the training for that.

It’s pretty fast-paced and physical, so you’ll definitely be on your feet a lot! You’ll be working in a warehouse environment, and sometimes in a kitchen, so being able to adapt and keep up with the hustle is key.

The shifts can vary since they operate early and late, and some locations are even open 24/7. So, having a flexible schedule is really important for this role!
