Well, you’ll need at least 5 years of CNC machining experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience in a machine shop setting. They’re looking for someone who can really guide the team and tackle challenging machining issues.

So, as a Precision Machining Supervisor, you’ll be leading a team of technicians and machinists, ensuring they meet customer demands, and driving improvements in production processes. You’ll also manage schedules, performance, and make sure all documentation is up to date.

Actually, they’d love to see you have experience troubleshooting single digit micron parts and advanced macro programming skills. If you’ve worked with Heidenhain controls or have precision inspection experience, that’d be a big plus too!

The shift is from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, so it’s definitely a second shift role. Just keep in mind that there might be some travel involved to vendor sites or launch and test sites.

The pay range for the Supervisor role is between $105,000 and $135,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. It’s a pretty competitive salary!
