Well, as an SMT Specialist, you’d be managing and maintaining equipment, training new technicians, and executing product builds. You’d also troubleshoot any production issues that pop up and work closely with engineers to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll need either a high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science. Plus, having 2 years of experience specifically in SMT or PCBA process engineering is a must!
