What’s SpaceX like in terms of their business, the role, and the work culture?

Well, this role is all about designing and activating the systems that help build and launch the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket. You’d be working with a team of engineers to improve electrical and control systems at the launch facility, which is pretty exciting!

You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, or something similar. Plus, they’re looking for at least a year of experience with instrumentation power systems design or data acquisition systems, and also with programmable controllers.

You’d be involved in a lot of hands-on tasks, like writing and debugging PLC code, designing control networks, and maintaining SCADA infrastructure. You’d also manage electrical cabinet builds and provide troubleshooting support for ground support equipment, which sounds pretty dynamic!

Absolutely! If you have experience with electronics test rack design, data acquisition setups, or building high-quality electrical control panels, that’d definitely give you an edge. They also appreciate exposure to various production machinery and sensors, so any hands-on experience there would be a plus.
