Nursing Assistants are responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients, which includes taking and recording vital signs, assisting with ambulation and personal care, and other tasks directed by RNs, LPNs, and providers.

To apply, you need to be a U.S. citizen or meet specific conditions for non-citizens, have six months of general experience, or have relevant education or training related to the Nursing Assistant role.

For the GS-4 grade, you need one year of specialized experience as a CNA or in another medical field, or relevant education that demonstrates your skills in technical and nursing tasks.
