The Assistant Aircrew Program Manager helps the Aircrew Program Manager and is responsible for ensuring that aircrew ground and flight training/testing meets standards for specific aircraft of an assigned air carrier. They also assist in managing programs on assigned aircraft, including designated examiners and/or Aircrew Program Designees.
What are some qualifications needed for this job?
To qualify, you shouldn’t have more than two incidents involving Federal aviation regulations violations in the last five years, need a valid State driver’s license, must be fluent in English, and should not have any chemical dependencies or drug abuse that could affect job performance. A high school diploma or equivalent is also required.
What are the medical requirements for this position?
Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties safely and efficiently, have good distant vision in each eye, be able to hear a conversational voice, and not have any physical conditions that could be a hazard. If the job involves operating aircraft, you’ll need a valid second-class medical certificate and must pass recurrent medical exams as required by the FAA.
