You’ll be helping with insurance-related electrical inspections and minor residential repairs, which means visiting homes to do electrical testing, take detailed photos, and complete small repairs when needed.

You’ll conduct on-site electrical inspections, use a multimeter to test voltages, take clear photos of electrical panels and wiring, perform minor repairs like replacing outlets, and document your findings for insurance claims.

You’ll need a strong understanding of residential electrical systems, proficiency with a multimeter, experience with minor repairs, and you must be a licensed electrician. Also, having reliable transportation to job sites and liability insurance is required.

The pay ranges from $40 to $50 per hour for the work you’ll be doing.
