What qualifications do I need to apply for this position?
You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and five years of related experience. Also, you must be currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
Is there any certification required for this role?
Yes, you need to be certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, or you should obtain it within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit, Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications may also be required.
