One Brooklyn Health Clinical Nurse Manager: Job Overview, Location, and Employment Details

The Clinical Nurse Manager/Coordinator manages and coordinates the delivery of resident care within the assigned LTC areas.

A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.

A minimum of five (5) years of satisfactory clinical experience is required.

The Clinical Nurse Manager must be licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State.

The ability to communicate effectively with patients and/or co-workers and good interpersonal skills are necessary.

The position requires prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds if necessary to assist lifting and moving patients.

The Clinical Nurse Manager creates a positive climate within the unit and sets high performance standards.

Demonstrates knowledge of current technology, equipment, and pharmaceuticals utilized in patient care and treatment.

The Clinical Nurse Manager justifies/maintains the fiscal plan (budget) for the patient care unit and monitors patient expenses and operating expenses.
