To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Registered Nurse license and have an Associate’s degree in nursing. Additionally, they should have at least two years of RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting and must be able to pass a Tele test during orientation.

Candidates are required to have BLS certification, which can be obtained through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. This certification is essential for ensuring the safety and care of patients.

The nurse in this position is required to float to different hospitals based on census needs. This includes working in various facilities within Region 1 and Region 3, which encompass several BayCare hospitals.
