The essential duties of the Senior Audit Accountant include evaluating the effectiveness of daily operations and planning, coordinating, and distributing the workload. This role also involves leading multiple divisional assignments, maintaining ethical standards, and assisting with the development of work procedures.

Candidates must have or obtain a valid driver’s license applicable to job responsibilities by the date of hire, with a driving record acceptable to the County of El Paso. Additionally, a personal mobile smart device is required to access the County’s network and systems by the hire start date.

This position requires coordination with other departmental staff to complete processes relevant to the department. For example, this includes tasks such as uploading reports to the web and interfacing information with the financial system.
