This position is fully remote but is expected to operate during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. This means that while you can work from anywhere, you will need to align your working hours with PST.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing routine and non-routine journal entries and adjustments to ensure proper recognition of accounts for the month-end close. Additionally, this role involves preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations of assigned accounts and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Candidates for this position should have at least 4 years of related work experience, with public accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential, and experience with ASC 606 is also preferred.

The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting. This reporting structure ensures that the Senior Accountant aligns with the company’s financial reporting standards and practices.

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Senior Accountant may assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and narratives to support accounting treatment. They may also prepare year-end audit schedules in conjunction with the annual external audit.
