The Accountant will be responsible for the daily accounting activities of multiple basic to mid-level entities as assigned by the Manager of Accounting. This includes supporting management reporting, preparing and entering actual results, and creating variance analysis.

The Accountant will assist with management reporting, which includes preparing and distributing financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Additionally, they will be involved in the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget.

The process of journal entries for this position involves preparation, recording, and collection of supporting documentation. This must be done in compliance with Gates Mandate for Fundamental Financial Controls and existing SOX Matrixes, and completed work will be submitted to the Manager for review and approval.

The Accountant is expected to reconcile general ledger accounts as part of their responsibilities. This task is essential to ensure the accuracy of the financial records for the assigned entities.
