The position requires a minimum of 3 months of experience in Long Term Care, although 6 months of experience is preferred. This experience is essential for providing the necessary care to residents.

Travel is required for this position to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of the nurse’s permanent address. Mileage reimbursement is provided for the required travel, which helps to cover transportation costs.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The nurse collaborates with residents, families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

In addition to the base salary, there are several pay differentials offered for this position. These include a $1.25/hour differential for weekend shifts and a $1.25/hour differential for evening and night shifts, which are defined as hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
