The primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include managing disbursements and receipts, payroll processing, and preparing financial statements. Additionally, the accountant will handle account reconciliations and assist with the monthly close process.

In disbursements and receipts management, the Staff Accountant will process vendor invoices for TechTown and Ops+ using the Accounts Payable system, Bill.com. This includes managing 1099 contractor administration and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.

The payroll and journal entries responsibilities include posting bi-weekly payroll and allocation journal entries into the accounting system. The Staff Accountant will also liaise with the HR department regarding payroll and benefit-related expenses.

The Staff Accountant is expected to prepare timely and accurate monthly account reconciliations. This includes assisting with the reconciliation of intercompany transactions to ensure financial accuracy.

The monthly close process involves performing accruals as necessary and executing monthly journal entries related to revenue recognition. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will prepare preliminary financial statements and a schedule of restricted net assets.

The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Sr. Director of Finance and collaborate with team members who support TechOne Holding and Financial Services for Ops+ Clients. This collaboration is crucial for ensuring accurate financial operations across the organization.
