The primary role of the Pool Bartender Attendant is to deliver beverages and food to pool guests while providing them with professional and efficient service. They may also prepare some drinks as part of their responsibilities. This position involves ensuring that guests have a positive experience at the pool area through attentive service.

The opening duties include signing out the master card key from the front desk to access the pool area, reporting to the manager about any event updates or special promotions, and checking in with the kitchen about any changes or specials. They also need to ensure that their equipment, such as the Micros Handheld and wireless printer, are connected and have signal, and set up their service station with items like fruit and napkins.

Before starting their shift, the attendant makes sure that their bus and tubs, as well as the service station, are set up with necessary items like fruit and napkins. They also check that the pool phone is working properly, place poolside menus on all tables and the bar, and coordinate with room service to verify any orders before pickup.

During the shift, the attendant prepares drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems, and they also issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles. They maintain cleanliness of the bar, tables, and tools, and remove soiled wares from the pool deck and tables to designated areas.

The attendant ensures the pool deck is clean and presentable by organizing lounge chairs, wiping down lounge chairs, and making sure cushions are in place. They also check that umbrellas are positioned correctly and that the furniture arrangement is maintained properly.

The attendant processes all payment methods, counts the bank at the end of their shift, completes the cashier reports, resolves any discrepancies, and secures the bank. They also drop off receipts as part of the closing procedures to ensure accurate financial documentation.

The attendant welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to the company’s standards, anticipates and addresses their service needs, and thanks them with genuine appreciation. They communicate clearly and professionally with guests to ensure a positive experience.
