The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to oversee restaurant operations either in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for providing excellent internal and external service, as well as building restaurant sales and profit.

The Assistant Manager is responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and evaluating restaurant employees. They monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent, and ensure that systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and followed. Additionally, they work to identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions.
