Sonic Drive-In Multi-Unit Leader – Full-time / Part-time: Job Overview, Location, and Employment Details

The main responsibility of the Multi-Unit Leader is to manage the operations of multiple Sonic drive-ins, including overseeing all General Managers and employees within these locations. This role involves ensuring that the drive-ins provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to ensure an enjoyable guest experience. Additionally, the leader is responsible for training and supporting employees and management staff.

The Multi-Unit Leader manages, trains, and coaches General Managers and employees, and conducts management orientation sessions. They also assign employees to various tasks as needed to meet operational standards and oversee the performance of employees during shifts.

The leader oversees employees performing duties in various stations such as the Fountain & Frozen, Dresser, Front Swamp, and others, to ensure that all menu items meet operational standards for portion control, temperature, packaging, appearance, presentation, taste, and service. They monitor these aspects during shifts based on store volume.

The leader is responsible for ensuring compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices of Sonic Drive-In. They take appropriate action to address employee issues and policy violations and report these issues to their immediate supervisor.

The leader reviews employee and management work schedules in a timely manner to ensure that the drive-ins are properly staffed to serve guests according to Sonic Drive-In policies and applicable laws. This helps maintain continuous service and operational efficiency.

The Multi-Unit Leader monitors cost control procedures related to food, labor, paper, and inventory across multiple drive-ins. They also take immediate corrective actions when necessary to manage expenses effectively.

The leader monitors the performance of vendors supplying goods and services to the drive-ins and takes immediate corrective action if vendor performance does not meet standards or expectations.

The Multi-Unit Leader audits employment-related records and compliance within the drive-ins to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements. This helps maintain operational integrity and legal compliance.
