Well, as an Assembly Technician for the Starlink project, you’ll be building small electrical sub-assemblies and working on the mechanical and electrical assembly of satellite components. You’ll also get to do some soldering, wire harnessing, and even run functional tests on the hardware you build. It sounds like a really hands-on role!

So, to qualify, you’ll need at least a high school diploma or an equivalency certificate and a year of hands-on work experience. If you have more experience, like two years in electro-mechanical assembly, that would be even better!

Absolutely! If you have an associate degree or an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, that would be a plus. Plus, being able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is really helpful for this role.
