What’s Masonicare like in terms of their business, the role, and the work culture?

Well, as a Behavioral Health CNA, you’ll be providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This includes helping residents with meals, transferring them safely, assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. It’s all about supporting the patients’ needs in a caring environment.

So, this job is for the day shift, and you’ll be working about 32 hours a week. Plus, you’ll have to work every other weekend, which is pretty common in healthcare roles.

Yes, you’ll need to have a current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide, or CNA, along with CPR certification. Those are the minimum requirements to get started.

This position is at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT. It’s a nice facility with a state-of-the-art Behavioral Health Hospital unit, so you’ll be in a great environment.

You’ll be working in a 50-bed unit, so you’ll have the chance to support multiple patients throughout your shift. It can be busy, but it’s also really rewarding to make a difference in their lives!
