A Master Electrician plans the layout and performs installation and repairs of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. They also read blueprints and diagrams, measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit, and perform circuit testing.
Are there any physical requirements for this job?
Yes, the job requires the ability to stand or walk for long periods, climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds, and have the dexterity to handle and grasp wires and tools. You’ll need to bend, crouch, and work in small or confined spaces, and be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
