The Housing Development Accountant coordinates and performs journal entries for acquisition, construction, and permanent loan closings. Additionally, they manage the funding of reserves and accounts related to these loans.

The Housing Development Accountant collaborates with project managers to review and prepare development funding draw requests. They also manage the line of credit drawdown and repayment processes to ensure proper funding.

The Housing Development Accountant is responsible for managing accounts payable for development projects. This includes ensuring proper authorization, coding, and documentation, as well as overseeing payment processing and check disbursement.
