The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to oversee restaurant operations, either in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, developing, and evaluating restaurant employees. They monitor staffing levels to ensure there are enough team members for effective operation and ensure that training systems are fully implemented and followed. Additionally, they work to identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions.
