The main responsibility of the PT Bartender is to serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. They also prepare beverages for other servers and act as a cashier for the lounge. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining the bar setup and stock levels daily.

The bartender promotes guest satisfaction by greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner and documenting their drink orders. They also mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes while practicing prudent portion control to ensure quality and consistency.

The bartender is responsible for maintaining proper and adequate setup of the bar daily, which includes requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet. They also handle the stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.

The bartender receives cash from guests, makes change when needed, verifies the validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed to balance all monetary transactions. They are also responsible for depositing cash drops and securing the bank.

The bartender is responsible for answering the bar phone within three rings and taking room service orders correctly and courteously. They input these orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest, including personnel guests, to maintain accountability for all beverages served.

The bartender performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by the supervisor to adhere to health standards. They also follow safety and security procedures, know department fire prevention and emergency procedures, utilize protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the supervisor.

The bartender provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules, including utilizing protective equipment and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor. They are also trained to know emergency procedures related to fire prevention and other safety protocols.
