The main responsibility of the bartender at WXYZ Lounge is to prepare and serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The bartender ensures compliance with alcohol laws by consistently checking guests’ identification and monitoring their consumption of alcoholic beverages. This helps to ensure that the establishment remains in compliance with state and local liquor laws.

The bartender greets all guests in a courteous and friendly manner and responds to their needs by providing the highest level of quality service. They also assist servers and guests when needed to ensure a positive experience.

The bartender operates the micros system and cash register accurately and quickly, following all cash handling and POS procedures established by CSM and the brand. They also ensure the proper closing of all guest checks.

The bartender is responsible for the proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste. This includes preparing drinks to recipe and brand standards and managing inventory efficiently.

The bartender maintains a clean and safe work area by disposing of garbage, picking up trays, restocking barware, and wiping down tables and counters. They also wash barware and transfer dishes to the dish wash area to ensure sanitation.

The bartender completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner while following internal audit procedures. They also assist with inventory tasks, including completing inventory par sheets and other related responsibilities.

The bartender handles all beverage and food items in accordance with CSM, brand, local, state, and federal regulations. They also assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the bar, kitchen, and dish area.

The bartender should be knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures to respond appropriately in case of emergencies. This knowledge helps ensure safety for guests and staff during unexpected situations.
