The bartender must check customers’ identification to ensure they meet age requirements, take beverage orders from guests and servers, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions about beverages, and thank guests for their visit while inviting them to return.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid TABC Certification to serve alcohol, which is necessary for compliance with alcohol service regulations.

The role requires washing and sterilizing glassware, maintaining bottles and glasses in an attractive manner, and keeping all areas of the bar, including counters, sinks, utensils, and shelves, clean and organized.

The bartender assists with restocking and replenishing bar supplies and reports any equipment problems or maintenance issues to the bar supervisor to ensure smooth operation.

Candidates should possess a positive attitude, work well with team members, and communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) used in the workplace to provide excellent customer service.
