The CNA will provide care that meets the activities of daily living, or ADLs, and assist Sisters in performing their own ADLs. They will also observe, report, and record physiological, cognitive, and sensory data as requested by the licensed nurse.

The CNA performs assignments delegated by the licensed nurse that are necessary for the operation of the department. They also utilize good stewardship by managing supplies and equipment, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring safety.

The CNA is expected to attend at least one educational offering each quarter and participate in all mandatory in-services. This ongoing education helps maintain their skills and knowledge.

The CNA welcomes and assists new associates and volunteers during their orientation to the Villa. This helps ensure they are properly introduced to the environment and their responsibilities.

The CNA is expected to behave in a manner consistent with the Core Values of the organization. They must also collaborate effectively with other associates and departments to ensure the overall mission is achieved.
