The Nursing Resource Pool serves as the institution’s full-time float pool, providing highly trained Patient Care Technicians to support various inpatient units. This team helps maintain appropriate staffing levels across more than 20 inpatient units, especially during staff absences or increased patient census.

Team members in the float pool support a variety of inpatient units, including Surgical, Medical, Hematology, and several Specialty Cohorts. They are expected to adapt to different clinical environments as needed.

Applicants should demonstrate strong clinical skills, effective interpersonal communication, good time-management, and the ability to work well within a team. Adaptability and the capacity to deliver safe patient care even when floated multiple times are also essential.

The hourly salary for this role ranges from a minimum of $18.27 to a midpoint of $22.84, with a maximum of $27.40, depending on experience and qualifications.
